    1. Who is the data controller

    The data controller is Eder Lomba, a self-employed sole trader based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. For any privacy enquiry, contact ederclimbingcoach@gmail.com.

    2. What information is collected

    This is a static website and does not store visitor data on any server. The only personal information processed is what you voluntarily send when contacting: • Name, email address, subject and message (contact form) • Any additional information you choose to share by email, WhatsApp or phone The contact form opens your own email app: the message is sent directly from your account to mine. This website does not intercept or store its content.

    3. Legal basis and purpose

    Your information is used solely to reply to your enquiry and, where applicable, to deliver climbing coaching services. The legal basis is your explicit consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and, where applicable, performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

    4. Retention

    Emails received are kept only for as long as necessary to respond and maintain the professional relationship, and are deleted when no longer needed or upon your request.

    5. Sharing with third parties

    Your data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties. The technical providers used to host and manage this site (Lovable, Sanity CMS) may process basic technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and performance, in line with their own policies.

    6. Cookies and local storage

    This site does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The browser's local storage (localStorage) is used strictly for functional purposes: remembering your language preference. No consent is required under UK GDPR/PECR.

    7. Your rights

    You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any right, write to ederclimbingcoach@gmail.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

    8. Security

    Reasonable measures are taken to protect your information, including HTTPS and restricted access to email. No system is 100% secure, but every effort is made to keep your information confidential.

    9. Changes to this policy

    This policy may be updated to reflect legal or operational changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top.
